Crappy internet connection here is sending me crazy. Not sure if i said this before but apparently i cant access my blogspot n view my own posts. So have to jus bare with blindly typin away. The farewells to the plane boarding brought forth a range of emotions nvr realli experienced before. Was pleasantly touched by the many thoughtful gifts and a tinge of saddness as i passed the departure gate.

5hrs of flight later was in Pudong Int Airport(cant believe it no cards not board China Eastern!!!). Externally it looked good enough but didn't manage to see the DFS outlet...Must be on the other ends of the terminal. Saw SIA (Shanghai International Airport), was a carbon copy of PIA also...Checking into the GIP office we had our briefing n our very 1st GIP gang pic...Woossh!!! From there we headed over to our apartment...many comments that its UPz from Charlene n Tiong that ours 100 marks if their housing worth 10marks. Eateries are nearby yet to explore, MRT also 5mins walk away...plus a kitchen with Mambo nite floor lightings (totally awesome i tell u).

Set a Bank Acct was our 1st priority. Reached the place n tried filling up the form for atm card. It was totall in CHINESE n ya the 10yrs of chinese education definitely was not enough to understand all the shitty boxes we had to fill up. After much 鸡手画脚, and rude tellers (lesson learnt: the louder person is the winning person), finally got the darn atm card n bk.

Was at the Metor outlet on to buy my some necessities for the house n found out later u need a membership card b4 u can buy (WTH!!!). Good think i managed to get frm Char someone's membership card. Place was like a Giant Carrefour but was still freakin exp. Knife n choppin board set = $30. Payin at the cashier with what little stuff we got, the sales lady chu stun tell us need to pay for plastic bag if we want them...No wonder aft scannin she jus let the items consolidate in a collection area. (WTH Part 2!!!)..In the end we packed up 4 buckets of essential items, mop, 12pax cup noodles n bottle water for a grand total of $100sing dollars...Shanghai is realli exp so far...

KFC here has egg tarts!!! But i stuck to convention n got a combo 5 chicken piece n zinger burger combo. Turned out my my chicken was a wing n "here in Shanghai they only have their original...original original original" n my burger was like smaller than the combo 2 zinger burger...feel super cheated la...
